Taxi Online VS Conventional Taxi

By: Dr.Aliyadi *

Taxis are public transportation modes that have long been known to society, besides there are also other public transportation, for example, city bus, public transportation (angkot), becak and andong (bendi).

This public transport has become a public transport inseparable by the history of human transportation for many years has become the choice of society without exception, as if nothing would replace.

With the development of the era, and technological advancement who would have thought this public transportation mode gradually increasingly threatened its existence, starting from andong, then becak and now start threatening public transportation public transportation (angkot), rural transportation (angkudes), including taxi meters.
Which threatens them is the advancement of technology in the field of automotive, now the number of private motor vehicles have adorned the streets both motorcycles and four-wheeled vehicles with their respective luxuries, and public purchasing power increased so that almost all families have motor vehicles, especially two wheels.Employment in the field of imformation technology contribute to changing human behavior where the creation of smart applications that make it easier for human to do anything including the world of online transport, eg Grab, Uber and Gojex, this service providers provide pickup service with enough download the application then the user just choose to transport whether motorcycles or cars, within minutes of ordering already approached the buyer, with various advantages that is: the price is known without having to ask the driver wanted or not to deliver with the intended purpose, the type of vehicle, police number even we know who the driver, so that passengers feel safe .This online traffic is considered to threaten the existence of conventional public transport, everywhere there is a rejection of the presence of online taxis.

Ridiculous indeed, consumers are faced with the choice of force that is required to return to the stone age, they do not want to follow the times, instinctively we are concerned because it threatens the employment of the drivers, but actually not a threatened driver but a conventional taxi company who do not want to adjust to technological advances , then they use taming taxi drivers.

Sooner or later that can not adjust or adapt will disappear by itself, the public will choose their own alternatit convenient transportation, if forced to motorcycle credits will be more comfortable.

Well, Now what is the attitude of the government? create rules that harm the community or support the owners of large capital such as conventional taxis that do not want to change or let such a flowing water, we wait a wise policy, not a barrier to the growth and development of civilization progress of the era .. hope!
